About Roger Matthews

Roger has played guitar since 10 years of age. When he graduated from college his first job was with the Gibson Guitar Company. He started in customer service learning the wide variety of models of guitars they manufactured. He later became the Product Manager for Gibson.

While working for Gibson he had the opportunity to meet some of the greatest guitarists in history. To name a few Les Paul, BB KIng, Howard Roberts, Johnny Smith, Barney Kessel, Johnny Rector, Herb Ellis and others.
